Healthcare Professionals & Educators Rising Strong™

February 1-2, 2019

ABOUT RISING STRONG™

The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall.

Rising Strong™ Workshop is a research-based program about what it takes for us to get back up, live a wholehearted and satisfying life, rise strong and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write daring new endings.

By participating in the Rising Strong™ Workshop with Rachael & Natalie, you will have the opportunity to explore how to live bravely by showing up in the professional arenas of your life and rise strong to become the best, most authentic version of you.

As healthcare professionals & educators, we rarely share the challenges of falling and rising from struggle. In this 2-day experiential training, healthcare professionals & educators will identify professional areas of struggle and learn how to rumble with shame, grief and vulnerability.

Learning Outcomes : After attending Healthcare Professionals & Educators Rising Strong™, you’ll be able to:

  • Clarify core values in your work

  • Identify and process difficult emotions

  • Increase resiliency and courage as professionals

  • Improve personal and professional relationships

  • Cultivate gratitude, joy and authenticity

  • Learn about BRAVING in the professional arena

  • Have a healthier relationship with struggle (disappointment, failure, heartbreak, etc.)

About the Facilitators Natalie Mica has been studying Brene’s work since she heard her TED talk vulnerability in 2013. She completed her Clinical Daring Way™ training in 2017 and is currently a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator Natalie is also trained in the Rising Strong™ methodology. “Shame is universal, and I recognize its ability to impact my personal and professional life and the lives of my clients. At our deepest level, we all long for connection. Our fears of vulnerability and of not being enough often hinder the internal resources we need to live courageously and create the very connection we long for in our lives. Brene’s work helps us to look at our story, show up in our lives, and make the changes that allow us to live wholeheartedly with authenticity, self-compassion, and courage. –Natalie Mica
