The Bridger Peaks Counseling Team is excited to announce we have a new clinician joining our practice. Vanessa Clark, MSW, LCSW, will be accepting new clients starting October 1, 2018. If you are exploring therapeutic service, please don't hesitate to reach out to Vanessa at (406) 813-0239. She currently accepts BCBS of MT, Medicaid, Cigna and sliding scale direct payment.

Attached is information on Vanessa and her therapeutic framework:

As a licensed clinical social worker, I feel strongly that each individual has strengths within themselves that can assist them with coping through struggles and empower further personal and relational development.  My goal with clients is to journey with them, assisting with identification of those strengths and further resources to maximize quality of life and relationships.  I believe in the power of joining my clients and validating their experiences.

My experience has been primarily with adjustment-based disorders including chronic illness and pain, end of life, grief and bereavement.  I have provided therapy and resource to those directly dealing as well as their caregivers, family members, and other support persons. I also have experience with school age children in addition to individuals impacted by multiple barriers.

As a therapist, I know the benefit of a safe, trusting relationship to explore, identify, and change areas of need in one’s personal life.  I welcome the opportunity and would be honored to further learn about you and your goals.

Courageous Conversations: Uniting Parents, Educators & Healthcare Providers

We invite parents, educators, and healthcare providers to join us for an empowering day exploring the role of language and compassion on health outcomes and the well-being of special need families.

Keynote Speaker

Rachel Callander, world renowned speaker and author of "Super Power Baby Project", will teach about the implications of language on the health outcomes of special need children and how to move from a place of powerless to empowerment as parents and professionals.

In addition, there will be experiential learning opportunities for parents and professionals on emotional well-being, self-compassion, and a panel discussion to increase awareness around the unique challenges of raising a child with special needs.
