Daring Greatly™ Workshop

September 27-28, 2019

ABOUT Daring Greatly™

Daring Greatly™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings.

During the process facilitators explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.

In our daily lives, we experience feelings of vulnerability but rarely share the challenges of showing up and being seen authentically.

In this 2-day experiential training, participants will explore their adventures in the arena, debunk the myths of vulnerability and understand how to combat shame in order to transform the way they live, love, parent & lead.

About the Facilitators Rachael Dunkel has been a student of Brené’s work and research since 2012. She completed her Clinical Daring Way™ training in 2017 and is currently a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. Rachael is also trained in the Rising Strong™ methodology. "Since my first introduction to Brené’s work back in 2012, I've seen the power of owning your story both personally and professionally. We as a culture do not talk about shame and yet we feel it in all areas of our lives. Through this coursework, we can learn to show up, be seen and live brave together." - Rachael L. Dunkel
