THE BRIDGER PEAKS COUNSELING APPROACH TO INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

At Bridger Peaks Counseling, We Will Help You Through This Time

Our approach to therapy is different. We know you could spend time with a number of other therapists in Bozeman. But, you want to give us a chance to help you first. The caring, professional team here at Bridger Peaks uses talk-therapy, coupled with interactive feedback and/or supportive reflection. Our person-centered approach centers you in the therapeutic process, putting you in the driver’s seat. When deeply buried feelings and thoughts are found and brought to the surface, our experiences and emotions can finally be understood.

In order to work with these emotions, we also use techniques like:

Narrative therapy: giving one's life story meaning by better understanding their personal abilities

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): helps lessen emotions connected to traumatic events and allow the individual to better cope with them

Somatic Experiencing: better understanding the physical to aid in the healing of stressors and/or trauma
