SHAUNA MURPHY
MSW, SWLC
Welcome! Since 2015, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges and transitions. Before joining a group practice, I worked extensively in community social work as a child protection worker, where I learned the importance of empathy, advocacy, and honoring each person’s unique story.
I specialize in working with adults, children, and families, as well as Indigenous communities where my approach is rooted in cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the impacts of historical trauma. I am passionate about helping clients navigate challenges with compassion and respect, including:
Grief and Loss
Anxiety
Depression
Co-Occurring Conditions
Significant Life Changes
I draw from evidence-based, holistic, and person-centered approaches, integrating:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Strengths-Based Methods
Solution-Focused Techniques
I believe in creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to heal and grow—honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit. No matter who you are or where you come from, my goal is to offer an inclusive and nurturing environment where your story is valued, your strengths are celebrated, and your well-being is the priority.
I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and earned my Master’s in Social Work through the University of Denver. Growing up in Wyoming, I understand the importance of providing quality care to rural communities and the people that make it great. When I’m not at work, you can find me hiking, exploring new places, baking, and spending time with my loved ones.
