90% of the game is half mental - Yogi Berra

Life can feel overwhelming and repetitive at times, leaving us stuck in patterns we can’t seem to break. Through a safe and supportive environment I help couples, individuals, and athletes explore these challenges without judgement, develop self-awareness, and move toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilled life. Those repetitive patterns, whether interpersonally or relationally, can be broken and new healthy patterns can be created and sustained through learned skills.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 13 years playing volleyball collegiately and professionally overseas. This experience has deepened my understanding of the pressures and demands of life, and has informed the way I communicate, bond, and support my clients. Combining my athletic background with my therapeutic expertise, I am passionate about helping clients overcome challenges to unlock their full potential. In my work with couples, individuals, and athletes I utilize aspects of person centered therapy, my training in Self-Meaning Based Therapy, and theories supported by Psychodynamic couples therapy.

While specializing in assisting couples through their journey of growth, enhancing connectedness and understanding of one another, I take a warm but directive approach. It is my hopes that my client’s feel my compassion for where they are, my warmth in assisting them to where they want to go, and my empathy for all this process may bring.
